Laboratory Notes: | Isohaemagglutinin titre may be requested in organ transplant patients as a base line test and at different times post transplant. The test refers to the titre of any of anti A and anti B in serum. Each individual produces different quantities of these antibodies. In Renal transplant patients ( given non ABO matched organs ) a rise from baseline isohaemagglutinin titre may prompt clinical intervention. |
