Please call the anatomical Pathology Laboratory on 53477 to advise of arrival time to the lab. Send fresh specimen(s) during business hours to anatomical pathology immediately.

Lab hours are 9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.

Note: This is a send out test. Please take into account transport time to RCH. They also need to receive the specimen during business hours.

Storage Instructions:

Store in the fridge if taken out of hours and call on call pathologist to let them know. This is sent to the RCH who will not perfom this test until the next working day which is why they should not take the biopsy out of hours if possible.

Transport Instructions:

Place specimen in esky with ice packs. Packing list PL_RCHH
