Collection Instructions:

Fasting serum sample required.

Patient must fast for 12 hours prior. If possible, withdraw acid control medication.

Notes:

Cimetidine may increase the Gastrin level

Storage Instructions:

Spin, separate and freeze serum, transport frozen. Patient must fast for 12 hours prior. If possible, withdraw acid control medication.
