Laboratory Notes: | Liver disease or Hepatitis of unknown aetiology may raise the possibility of Autoimmune Hepatitis. Indications for testing are negative viral serology and elevated transaminases. There are various subtypes of autoimmune hepatitis – different antibody patterns can help categorise the subtypes.
