Mid-stream specimens are always preferred over clean catch or bag collections

Red Cell Morphology must be specifically requested

Refrigerate a soon as collected.

If transport will be greater than 30 minutes, it should be at 2-8 degrees

In special circumstances volumes less than 10 mL can be processed.

Please contact Microbiology on 9895-3475 if unable to collect the 10 mL volume.
