As part of investigation for possible haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). Also do Ferritin, fibrinogen, triglycerides and FBE for diagnostic criteria (see: https://www.rcpa.edu.au/Manuals/RCPA-Manual/Clinical-Presentations-and-Diagnoses/H/Hemophagocytic-lymphohistiocytosis)
