There is no medicare rebate for this test, and a charge may be sent directly to the patient.

Alzheimer's Disease testing (A beta1-42, T-tau, P-tau): $400

Neurofilament light (NfL): $250 ($200 if requested with Alzheimer's disease testing) 

A SPECIAL COLLECTION PACK, CONTAINING SPECIAL CSF VIAL AND NDDL CSF SPECIMEN DATA SHEET, IS REQUIRED FOR THIS TEST AND CAN BE OBTAINED FROM PATHOLOGY.

Sample must be kept at 4C,  DO NOT FREEZE.
