Notes:

Additional specimens required ( as indicated on the " Transfusion related adverse event form" )

Serum - for Haemolysis screening tests.

Citrated plasma - for Coagulation tests including DIC screen where applicable.

Urine - for possible presence of haemoglobinuria.

Return of blood pack  suspected in the reaction.

Result Turnaround Time:
