Transport specimen at Room Temperature to lab

Testing is performed by Microbiological Diagnostic Unit at Melbourne University.Testing is peformed Monday, Wednesday & Friday, unless otherwise instructed by DHS. The specimen  must reach MDU by 11.00 on these days.

Notes:

 The specimen required is the first EDTA tube collected on the patient.
