WHO recommends urine iodine concentrations of 100-200 ug/L which is equivalent to 0.79-1.58 umol/L.

In pregnancy, urinary iodine concentrations of 1.2 - 2 umol/L (150 -249 mcg/L) indicate adequate iodine intake(1).
