Sample haemolysis may make this test unreportable

Do not use a Lithium heparin (green top) tube

For assay of therapeutic levels, specimen should be collected at least twelve hours after last dose. For trough levels, take sample up to 1 hour before next dose.

State dosage and collection times on the request form.
