This test is used as a marker for genetic disposition for Alzheimer's Disease. It is not covered by Medicare Rebate and the cost needs to be covered by the patient or treating clinical unit. The test costs $700 (2011).
Collect 2 x 4ml EDTA samples - if sent on the same day, they can be stored at RT, if to be sent next day, please store at 2-8 deg.
