NOTE : This test will only be performed if requested by Gastroenterology or Infectious Diseases Units.

Collection Instructions:

Transport specimen at Room Temperature to lab

Do not send heparinised blood. Please note that Hepatitis E PCR can only be performed on a sample tube which has NOT been used for other testing. For this reason, this test cannot be added to previously collected samples.
